Quality first: CPM showcase their products at RosUpack 2024
Consolidated Paper Mills Company (CPM), a pulp and paper enterprise group, participated in RosUpack 2024, an international exhibition that took place on June 18–21 in Crocus Expo in Moscow.
Around 30 thousand guests visited the large-scale event where CPM introduced their exhibition set. The futuristic design of the exhibition stand was built around the company’s general concept, which takes the most advanced technologies in the field of containerboard production and uses them to look ahead.
The stand consisted of two floors, with the meeting rooms on the upper floor, and the first floor occupied by four enterprises — members of the Group presenting their products: containerboard, multilayer cardboard, corrugated packaging, and paper bags. The highlight of the stand was a historical exposition which featured showpieces from Buzeon, Russia’s only paper museum, located in the Polotnyany Zavod settlement in Kaluga region. Besides, there was an installation on one of the CPM stand walls announcing the first industry-specific festival called «Paper Heart» which the company plans to conduct later this year on August 24 in Kaluga region.
CPM head Dmitry Dulkin visited the exhibition site. He took part in the business program at RosUpack 2024 as usual and spoke at the strategic session on the subject «Pulp and Paper Industry and Paper Packaging Market Development: Forecast», touching upon the question of new pulp and paper enterprises coming. There is no positive dynamics in this field currently. The situation might be changed though by broadening the planning perspective, he said. Another important topic that Dmitry Aleksandrovich discussed with the experts from the «League of Waste Paper Recyclers» TV studio was the staff shortage in pulp and paper industry. He noted in his interview that the problem needs to be solved in a comprehensive and prompt way.
«RosUpack has always been a very attractive event for the business players in the industry. It provides a fantastic opportunity to get in touch with the expert community and raise the most relevant subjects of concern. Apart from that, it’s a great vehicle for the companies to introduce their products and learn about the ways other players in the industry work. Our company’s usual practice is to focus on the scientific potential. We believe today that such approach not only allows us to make quality products, but also helps us do it in a financially rational way. Here at RosUpack we have another great chance to underline it. My general opinion is that the exhibition is an efficient tool for brand development and promotion», said Dmitry Dulkin.
It’s worth mentioning that this year over 1,000 companies from 20 countries all over the world introduced their products at RosUpack 2024, including the Republic of Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, China, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, etcetera. Russian manufacturers from more than 30 federal subjects presented domestic packing equipment, raw materials, storage equipment, label products, and finished packaging.
We want to thank our clients and partners for the chance to meet and discuss our common plans, as
well as the exhibition organizers for such a rich business program with plenty of opportunities to
exchange experience with our partners, and our employees for their active participation. See you
again at RosUpack 2025!
